Summary

As a Vibration Monitoring Expert you will play a key role in managing and executing projects related to paper machine condition monitoring systems. This position involves system installation, configuration, and support, as well as ongoing customer engagement through data analysis and performance assessments. You will contribute to product development and provide expert recommendations to both national and international clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage national and international OTC projects for engineering, system integration, and commissioning of paper condition monitoring systems.
  • Perform system installation, configuration, final acceptance testing (FAT), and remote/on-site commissioning support.
  • Provide post-commissioning support to global customers and internal Voith regions.
  • Support continuous development of monitoring products and related services.
  • Conduct regular remote performance assessments using recorded vibration data.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations and consult with customers.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.
  • Certified vibration analyst (at least CAT II) and have several years of professional experience in vibration analysis. Practical experience in electrical installation is also mandatory; experience in the paper industry is desirable.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
