Job summary

Shamrock Labels is seeking a skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our manufacturing team and ensure high-quality production of labels and packaging materials. The role requires operating flexographic presses, managing color accuracy, and maintaining efficient workflow in a dynamic production setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in printing machinery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a 4-day, 10-hour Mon-Thurs schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating flexo presses or similar printing machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with color management techniques for print accuracy.
• Experience with quality control procedures in a production setting.
• Basic understanding of machining or machining processes is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexo press: 3 years (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)
• Day Shift (Required)

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor flexo printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to specifications.
• Set up press equipment, including adjusting color registration, ink viscosity, and print parameters.
• Perform job setups, including plate mounting, ink mixing, die-cutting, and material loading.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including job tickets, quality checks, and material usage.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the press and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to manufacturing protocols.
• Document production details and communicate any issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing equipment for upcoming jobs to ensure optimal performance.
• Able to work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (Mon-Thurs)
