Job summary

NAIA, operated by DineAmic Hospitality along the Chicago River in River North, seeks a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional bar experiences in a fast-paced setting. You will craft beverages with accuracy, guide guest selections, and collaborate with servers to maintain seamless service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of bartending experience, knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, and are available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law.
• Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer styles, wine varietals, and spirits.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes with accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver warm, attentive hospitality to every guest at the bar and service well.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, allergens, cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits to guide selections.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process payments per procedures.
• Monitor alcohol service and enforce responsible service in compliance with regulations.
