Job summary

Ford's Garage is seeking an energetic Host/Hostess (Vibe Setter) to greet guests, manage seating, answer phones, handle reservations and take-out orders. You will be the face of our brand, delivering a warm, friendly first impression and ensuring a smooth dining experience from arrival to seating.

The role requires English communication, the ability to stand for long hours, and a willingness to operate in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Being the welcome face of our restaurant by giving a positive and uplifting first and last impression to our guests, both in person and on the phone.
• Providing our guests with the highest level of service standards to create new and repeat business.
• Facilitate top-notch service in the restaurant with accurate communication with wait list quotes and efficient flow of guests through their dining experience.
• Being knowledgeable of all brand-related restaurant information, e.g. happy hour details or limited time offers.
