Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Radio Technical support workforce capable of accomplishing its duties and responding to no-notice situations to sustain the customer’s mission and processes. Provide minimization of equipment downtime, considering the characteristics of equipment defects or damage, with a customer service-oriented approach. Support modernization of RF over Fiber Distributed Antenna Systems, maintenance of Motorola Trunked and Conventional radio system hardware, network devices, and associated components.

Support staff will ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds manufacturer standards, maintain logs, inventory, and site documentation, and report operational issues for resolution. This position is located in Washington, DC; relocation assistance is not provided. Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Washington DC or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Associate degree and at least 2 years of telecommunications, integration, and design experience (additional experience may substitute for degree)
• Ability to pass US Capitol Police Background Check
• Experience with Motorola Solutions equipment and training

Experience of 5 Years or More with

• P25 trunking systems platforms and components
• Conventional radio resources and test equipment
• Power systems inspection and maintenance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Motorola Base Station equipment and Juniper networking devices
• Experience using test equipment such as O-scope, Fireberd, transmission test sets
• Familiarity with patch panels, enterprise IP networks, and Motorola accessories

Pay Information

Salary range: $85,549 - $136,879, based on market pay structures and candidate qualifications.
