Job summary

Gritter Francona is seeking a VHA Program Manager to provide strategic leadership, oversight, and execution support for complex enterprise healthcare initiatives supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

This role serves as the primary interface between contractor leadership and VA stakeholders, ensuring program performance, compliance, risk management, and continuous process improvement across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex healthcare programs.
• Provide strategic oversight of enterprise initiatives for VHA priorities.
• Manage contract performance, project schedules, deliverables, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with VA leadership to establish priorities, resolve issues, and achieve outcomes.
• Oversee program governance, risk management, performance reporting, and quality assurance.
• Direct project management activities using industry best practices and established methodologies.
• Provide oversight of data analytics, performance metrics, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
• Support budget planning, financial tracking, and budget application management activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Lead organizational change management efforts for clinical, operational, and technology initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with VA policies, federal regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Mentor project managers and technical staff to foster collaboration across teams.
