Job description

We are seeking a Senior Compositor to join our Albuquerque-based team, focused on high-end cleanup and beauty work for episodic television. This role is centered on hands‑on shot production, delivering invisible visual effects within established pipelines and schedules.

The ideal candidate is an experienced compositor who can take ownership of shots, respond efficiently to notes, and consistently deliver high-quality results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Composite shots to a professional episodic television standard using Nuke
• Perform advanced cleanup and beauty work, including:
• Crew and equipment removal
• Reflection and shadow fixes
• Makeup and beauty fixes
• Morph and timewarp cleanup
• Screen integrations (phones, TVs, monitors)
• Interpret creative and technical notes and implement revisions accurately
• Maintain visual continuity and consistency across sequences
• Work collaboratively with production and compositing teams to meet delivery schedules

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of professional compositing experience
• Strong proficiency in Nuke (Flame or Fusion experience considered; After Effects only with strong compositing fundamentals)
• Solid understanding of LUTs, color space conversions, EXR workflows, and mattes
• Prior experience on episodic television or feature film projects
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on invisible, high-quality work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience on episodic television productions
• Familiarity with ShotGrid
• Experience working within established studio pipelines

COMPENSATION

• $90,000 – $115,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

This position is based in Albuquerque, NM. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate prior to start.
