Job Summary:

We are looking for a VFX Artist to join our team of artists, designers, and programmers to expand our VFX team. The VFX Artist will be responsible for creating and implementing stunning visual effects that align with our project's artistic direction and meet production deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong artistic and technical skills, with a solid understanding of delivering within the constraints of industry schedules. The VFX Artist must be able to transform both concrete and ambiguous concepts into compatible, rich visuals.

• Create, manage, and optimize VFX assets to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, programmers, and animators to iterate, polish, and deliver projects.
• Understand the creation of both simple and complex VFX assets.
• Create VFX optimized for the game style and technical requirements.
• Cultivate an organized and disciplined workflow.
• Work with leads to create a plan and timeline for VFX creation.
• Self-assess and identify ways to improve performance.
• Work within the technical limitations of the Roblox game engine.
• Help create and maintain workflow documentation for the team’s content.
• Share artistic knowledge with team members and support them as needed.

• Solid understanding of VFX creation for game engines (Unreal, Unity, Roblox, etc.).
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts.
• Two or more years of professional experience creating VFX.
• Experience with VFX for Roblox or UEFN is a plus.
• Understanding of game pipelines and VFX systems is a plus.

The base salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $85,000 USD, with an additional variable compensation package based on performance.
