Job summary

PHI Health in Rushville, IN is seeking skilled helicopter pilots to join a life-saving air medical team. You will operate under CAMTS guidelines, conducting 24-hour rotations, and participate in community outreach while maintaining safety and high-quality patient care.

Required are commercial and instrument helicopter ratings, First Class Medical, and a strong record of customer service with excellent communication skills. Sign-on bonuses and relocation incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings are required.
• First Class Medical certification is required.
• CAMTS requirement and flight hours: 2,000 total hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 PIC helicopter hours, 500 turbine hours, 100 NVG hours or 50 NVG hours + 100 unaided night hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM and safety policies.
• Load and unload patients and equipment; assist as needed.
• Support Safety Management System and Destination Zero initiatives.
• Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.

Job Summary:

PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines)BH407VFR/NVG (Instrument rating required)24-hour operations (day/night rotation)If successful applicant requires aircraft transition - 1 year minimum service requirement per CBA relocation package is available - If relocation package is utilized - 2 year minimum service requirement per CBA Off-Duty Housing providedOther:External search may run concurrently with internal job posting.Successful applicant will participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies.Some lifting will be required to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment.Perform line pilot duties IAW GOM.Support Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns.Work with both internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.
