Job summary

PHI Health in Greenville, Kentucky is seeking an experienced helicopter pilot to join our life-saving air medical team. The Captain will handle EC135 SP IFR/NVG duties in a 24-hour shift rotation, with a relocation option and a strong focus on safety and rapid medical response.

A substantial sign-on bonus is available, and relocation assistance may apply. Ideal candidates bring instrument rating, first class medical, and extensive turbine helicopter experience, ready to operate under CAMTS

Qualifications

  • Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings required.
  • First Class Medical certification required.
  • CAMTS guidelines familiarity and ability to support safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform line pilot duties IAW GOM and operate helicopter flight missions.
  • Support Safety Management System and Destination Zero initiatives.
  • Work with customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous service.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:Commercial and Instrument Helicopter RatingsFirst Class MedicalCAMTS Requirement // 2,000 Total Hours // 1,500 Hours Helicopter // 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters // 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters // 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG) // 75 Hours Instrument (Actual & Hood)Must meet and maintain the company’s flight personnel weight restriction policy, which limits individual weight to 235 lbs or lessStrong Communication, Internal and External Customer Service SkillsInterview and acceptance by customer/PHI managementMust be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment.), drug screening and background screen.Demonstrated Internal and External Customer Service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Schedule and Location:Schedule 7&7; Day of week the base changes schedules, and schedule change may be requiredMust reside within a 1-hour or less commute of the base
