PetVet Care Centers’ Paddock Park Animal Care Center in Ocala, Florida is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join the team. You will support hospital operations through patient care, examinations, nursing duties, and record-keeping, under the direction of the veterinarian.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends, providing patient care, client communication, and care coordination in a busy small-animal practice.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some veterinary field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients by taking vital signs and assisting during examinations.
• Assist with surgeries and provide nursing care and medications as directed by veterinarians.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with clients about patient status.
• Ensure safe, clean, and organized hospital environment and equipment.
