Job summary

Country Inn Pet Resort & Animal Hospital in Davie, Florida is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our family-owned, AAHA-accredited practice that has served South Florida since 2006. We prioritize collaboration and high-quality care, with veterinarians leading medical decisions for our patients.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll monitor anesthesia, assist with surgery, run diagnostic tests, educate pet owners, and support appointments in a fast-paced yet nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Safely restrain animals for procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures.
• Take and develop radiographs (X-rays).
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Provide clear client communication and discharge instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and hospital areas.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
