Job summary
Cherry Hill Free Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to provide comprehensive patient care, assist with surgeries, and perform diagnostic lab work. You will educate clients, review records, and support a positive hospital culture through training and teamwork.
The ideal candidate will graduate from an AVMA-accredited program and hold a valid RVT license, with strong nursing, dental, radiology, and lab skills; one year of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license (RVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental, radiology, and lab work.
- Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of veterinary experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure efficient workflow and professional growth.
- Partner with clients by educating pet owners, reviewing medical records, and addressing questions.
- Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and maintaining high standards.
