Responsibilities

• Manage and provide for the patient’s needs.
• Triage patients and determine stability.
• Perform physical assessments and document observations.
• Assist veterinarian during surgical procedures and anesthesia management.
• Collect blood and perform required tests.
• Prepare and monitor fluid therapy and medications.
• Calculate doses and dispense medications, including controlled substances.
• Monitor in-hospital patients and communicate with the team.
• Prepare patients for discharge and educate clients.
• Follow hospital policies and maintain accurate medical records.
