Qualifications

• Minimum one year of veterinary experience preferred.
• Licensed veterinary technician or certification preferred.
• Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Proficient venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Strong client education and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical areas for procedures.
• Induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients from anesthesia under supervision.
• Monitor anesthetic parameters and patient vital signs.
• Perform drug calculations with accuracy.
• Provide perioperative nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Maintain complete medical records and documentation.
• Communicate recommendations and care plans clearly to clients.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth hospital operation.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through.
