Job summary

VCA Los Altos Animal Hospital in Long Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor. You will mentor and develop a skilled team of Veterinary Technicians and Assistants in a fast-paced multi-doctor practice.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, RVT certification, 3–5 years of clinical experience, and leadership experience. You will oversee dentistry, anesthesia, radiology, and client communications while maintaining a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• RVT certification/licensure required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Dentistry skills including extractions.
• Experience in leadership and/or management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, mentor and retain the Technician team.
• Schedule and lead monthly Technician department meetings.
• Maintain inventory including Controlled Substances.
• Oversee patient care and ensure efficient hospital workflow.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on training and development.
