Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Monterey, CA is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who can motivate, engage, and train a high-performing team of veterinary professionals. You will help organize meetings, develop training schedules, and lead by example to ensure excellent patient care and client service.

The role emphasizes mentorship, positive work habits, and proactive problem-solving within a collaborative hospital leadership structure. A valid VT license is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals to join us in Monterey, CA!

Pay Range: $31.61 - $49.46 / hour
Schedule: Swing, flexible schedule, rarely overnight

Must have an active Veterinary Technician license.

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution .
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
