We are growing a new management and leadership team**Dewitt Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who is ready to lead from the floor, develop a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our hospital.This is not just a “management” role — this is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accountability, and is passionate about building a positive, growth-focused culture.The Technician Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, elevating medical standards, and developing the technician team.You will work closely with hospital leadership to ensure:* Strong clinical workflows* Consistent training and skill development* A collaborative, respectful team environment* High-quality patient care and client experience**Responsibilities and Qualifications**:* A strong veterinary technician with leadership experience or readiness to step into leadership* Passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing others* Organized, solution-oriented, and confident in decision-making* Able to balance team support with accountability and performance standards* Comfortable navigating change and helping teams adapt (especially with new systems and workflows)* A positive, “let’s figure it out” mindset with strong communication skills* 3+ years of veterinary technician experience required* Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred* Strong technical skills (surgery, anesthesia, patient care, workflow coordination)* Knowledge of compliance standards (controlled substances, medical documentation, etc.)* Experience with PIMS and other veterinary software (EzyVet, VetSnap etc.) is a plus**Compensation and Benefits**:* Up to $29/hourly, based on experience* Eligibility of a sign-on bonus up to $1500 based on experience* Competitive benefits package (health, dental, vision)* Paid time off + holidays* CE allowance and growth opportunities* Opportunities for advancement within a growing organizationAt AmeriVet, we’re committed to your growth, development, well-being, and success.
