Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Palo Alto Animal Hospital

Location: 3944 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306

We are seeking a highly experienced Veterinary Technician (RVT preferred) to join our leadership team as Technician Supervisor.

The successful candidate will believe in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

This is a working supervisory position responsible for leading the Veterinary Technician Staff. Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Implementing department policies and procedures
2. Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
3. Enforcing charge captures
4. Handling and recording controlled drugs accurately
5. Record keeping
6. Marketing
7. Facility maintenance

Strong skills are required. Dedication to creating a healthy work environment where all employees are empowered and enjoy their work is essential.

VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k), pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays, sick days, and health and well-being resources. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and credentials. The pay range for this position is $32 to $35 per hour.
