Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. The role focuses on coaching, mentorship, and delivering outstanding patient care within a fast-paced emergency and specialty care environment.

You will lead by example, organize training schedules, coordinate tech and assistant meetings, and provide feedback and development plans while supporting hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring veterinary staff and coaching teams.
• Ability to organize meetings and training schedules.
• Conflict resolution and performance feedback skills.
• Ability to lead in fast-paced emergency and specialty care.

Responsibilities

• Mentor lower-level staff with clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team to anticipate client needs and handle stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts and seek resolution.
• Provide leadership feedback and develop improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Schedule: 4 X 10 Hour shift. Flexibility is required. Day Shift and or Mid-Shift Available

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 / hour

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will...

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution .
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
