Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead, mentor and train a dynamic team of veterinary professionals. The role emphasizes excellent communication, time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

The supervisor will mentor junior staff, coordinate meetings, organize training, address conflicts, and provide feedback to leadership for performance improvement while handling related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a veterinary team is preferred.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities required.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor lower-level staff by modeling positive work habits and clinical skills.
• Coach team members to anticipate patient and client needs and manage escalated situations.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to organize technician and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for technician staff.
• Identify workplace conflicts and assist in resolution.
• Provide feedback to leadership and support performance improvement plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback to leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
