Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic specialty department team. Our collaborative environment is made up of talented veterinary professionals who genuinely care about both our patients and clients. Position Overview:
Technicians perform a variety of animal-health duties to ensure exceptional patient care. Technicians should be proficient in intermediate nursing duties including but not limited to patient assessment and monitoring, phlebotomy, IVC placement, medication/fluid administration, medical calculations, anesthesia monitoring, etc. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of specialty medicine and the ability remain calm during stressful situations. The technician working in this position will be trained to work as a clinic tech within different departments including but not limited to internal medicine, neurology, and cardiology.
