College Park Animal Hospital in Maryland seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our three‑doctor, AAHA‑accredited small animal team. The role offers a full‑time weekday schedule with no evening shifts, competitive compensation based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

As an RVT you will work alongside veterinarians during exams, collect lab samples, administer medications, assist with anesthesia, educate clients, and maintain medical records.

Responsibilities

• Partner with veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and patient care.
• Collect lab samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing.
• Administer medications and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia within the RVT scope of practice.
• Educate clients about preventative care, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records for excellent continuity of care.
• Create calm, compassionate, low-stress experiences for patients and clients.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional medical care every day.

Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Full-time weekday schedule. Hospital closes at 6:00 p.m. No evening shifts beyond closing.
