Qualifications

Who we are:

Join our incredible team at Pet Care Clinic of the High Country as a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant!

Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Technician ready to join a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun-loving team? At Pet Care Clinic of the High Country, an AAHA-accredited, top-tier veterinary hospital, we are dedicated to providing the best care for our furry, scaly, and feathery friends. We’re looking for someone like YOU to be part of our amazing team! If you're ready to lead, train, and work at the top of your license, we want to hear from you.

What We Do:

  • We’re a busy GP hospital open Monday through Friday (7am-6pm).
  • We see a wide variety of appointments, including GP visits and occasional urgent care walk-ins.
  • We perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures 4 days a week.
  • Our patients are primarily small animals (dogs, cats, and exotics).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full-Time RVT with at least two years of hands-on experience
  • Expertise in restraint techniques, blood draws, and IV catheter placement
  • Strong skills in surgical assistance, dentistry, anesthesia, and drug calculations

  • A confident communicator and natural leader with strong client communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

  • Ability to confidently perform dental cleanings, scaling, and dental radiographs
  • Ability to supervise and mentor veterinary assistants
  • Ability to help direct daily workflow and provide team leadership
  • Ability to maintain detailed, accurate medical records
  • Enthusiasm for being part of an AAHA-accredited hospital where quality care and compassion are our top priorities!

Schedule:

  • 4-day work week: Enjoy a balanced schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts during the week, giving you plenty of time for personal life, relaxation, and adventures! No weekends or holidays required - EVER!
