Join Our Team as a Relief Veterinary Technician!

VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital is seeking a Relief Veterinary Technician to support our team on an as-needed basis. Whether you're looking to pick up occasional shifts or gain experience in a new setting, we’d love to work with you!

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients

• Assist veterinarians in exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans

• Perform technical skills such as blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology

• Support the team in creating a positive, low-stress environment for pets and clients

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure cleanliness and organization in treatment areas

Requirements:

• Licensed or credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or equivalent experience (depending on state regulations)

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Flexible availability, including some evenings or weekends

• Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable jumping into different roles as needed

Compensation:

Pay Range is $20 - 30 /hr is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

Shift Differential:We offer a shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe.
