Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Cary, NC is seeking a radiology veterinary technician to support advanced imaging including CT, MRI, and digital radiography. Responsibilities include preparing patients for ultrasound, restraining for procedures, catheterization, phlebotomy, and slide preparation for cytology.

You will monitor patients under anesthesia, assist with contrast imaging, and mentor colleagues while contributing to compassionate care for pets. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Prepare patients for ultrasound and imaging procedures.
• Restrain patients safely for procedures and assist with anesthesia.
• Place IV catheters in peripheral veins and perform phlebotomy.
• Prepare slides for cytology and process radiographs digitally.
• Operate CT and MRI equipment and ensure imaging quality.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation.
• Mentor and train co-workers in radiology techniques.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Radiology Veterinary Technician.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

As a Radiology Technician you will perform advance diagnostic testing, such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging , digital fluoroscopy, and magnetic resonance imag ing (MRI).

As a Radiology Technician , you will:

• You prepare patients for ultrasound.
• Your safely restrain patients for procedures.
• You place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.
• You perform phlebotomy.
• You prepare slides for cytology.
• You proficiently perform digital radiographs.
• You monitor patients during anesthesia or while sedated.
• You will perform advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures.
• You have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• You have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
