Role Requirements:

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care to all patients to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Perform a range of nursing duties, phlebotomy, intravenous catheter placements, basic treatments, and intermediate care procedures.
  • Knowledge of common diseases, physical assessments, and monitoring techniques to accurately triage incoming patients.
  • Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications, being mindful of potential side effects.
  • Set up, monitor, and manage IV fluid therapy, including constant rate infusions and blood transfusions.
  • Support for both outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring all patients receive the necessary attention.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of normal vital sign ranges, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Recognize patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR as needed.
  • Accurately calculate medical dosages, and administer medications using the correct routes and timing.
  • Perform advanced technical skills, such as nasogastric tube placement, PICC line placement, Triple lumen placement, urinary catheter placement, etc.
  • Monitor patients receiving mechanical ventilation.
  • Work directly with criticalists on complex cases.
