Job summary

Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, TN is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians for our Overnight ICU team. The role offers $20-$29/hr based on experience, with $4.50 shift and weekend differentials and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 plus relocation for qualified technicians.

The position is full-time with three 12-hour night shifts (6pm–6am) and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, 401k with match, and more.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years working as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant, preferably in emergency medicine.
  • Experience in all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
  • Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement
  • Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members
