Veritas Veterinary Partners, a nationwide network of specialty and emergency hospitals, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for our San Rafael, CA location. You will assist ophthalmology exams, perform diagnostic procedures, monitor anesthesia, and help manage patient records with a collaborative team of veterinarians and technologists.

We offer competitive pay between $34 and $38 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive environment that values predictable schedules

Formación

• Registered Veterinary Technician with credentialing and licensure required.
• Experience with anesthetic monitoring and patient management.
• Proficient in processing basic laboratory specimens and records.
• Solid understanding of animal anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and build long-term relationships.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; focus on client service.

Responsabilidades

• Assist ophthalmologic exams and specialized diagnostic procedures.
• Obtain intraocular pressures and measure blood pressure with Doppler.
• Document history and updates in medical records; maintain accurate treatment sheets.
• Provide compassionate care and support during anesthetic and sedated procedures.
• Take radiographs and prepare blood samples for diagnostic testing.
• Educate clients on at-home care and post-visit guidance.

About PESCM: Located in San Rafael, is the only 24/7 veterinary hospital in Marin with specialties in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Urgent Care, Emergency, Radiology, and Critical Care. Responsibilities

• Assisting with Ophthalmologic exams
• Performing specialized diagnostic procedures
• Obtaining Intraocular pressures
• Measuring blood pressure using Doppler
• Documenting history and updates in medical records
• Provide quality, compassionate care for your patients
• Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures
• Maintain accurate treatment sheets
• Take radiographs and obtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testing
• Provide client education on a wide range of at home care

What You Will Bring

• Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring
• Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens
• Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Understanding of normal vs abnormal physiologic ranges
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
• Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, four 10-hour day shifts

Salary: 34.00 - $38.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus: Registered Veterinary Technicians are eligible for $6,000
