Job summary

Oceanside Animal Hospital is seeking an upbeat veterinary technician to join our urgent care and appointment teams. You will support the DVM in rooms, help with treatments, surgery prep and post-op monitoring, triage cases, and manage client education and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
• 1 year of veterinary technician experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support the DVM in rooms and treatment areas.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients during surgery and post-op.
• Triaging cases and assisting with urgent care and routine appointments.
• Record keeping and client education.
• Obtain and run diagnostic samples and perform routine treatments.
