VTM Pay: $37.35 - $58.40 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience.

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will...

1. Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate, maintaining all related skills and knowledge.
2. Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, communicated, and delivered.
3. Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
4. Mentor staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
5. Identify conflicts and seek assistance in resolution to foster effective working relationships.
6. Coach staff to promote strong performance and high productivity.
7. Communicate clearly with team members about new ideas, protocol changes, and policies.
8. Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to promote teamwork.
9. Implement process improvement initiatives.
10. Coordinate ongoing training with the Technician Training Manager.
11. Document performance issues, assess team members during reviews, and provide recommendations to hospital leadership.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
