BluePearl Pet Hospital in Malvern, PA is looking for a Veterinary Technician Manager with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay

$35.00 - $55.00 per hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

Shift differentials are based on a 4‑hour minimum.

For Example

• Mon – Fri: 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. = $3.50 Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will…

• Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate within the appropriate department and maintain all related skills and knowledge.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution to create effective working relationships.
• Coach staff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
• Clearly communicate with team members to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and impending changes.
• Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate an environment of teamwork.
• Implement process improvement initiatives.
• Work with the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training.
• Document performance‑related issues, assess team members during annual reviews, and provide hospital leadership with recommendations related to performance management and discipline.
• Other job duties as assigned.
