BluePearl Pet Hospital – Veterinary Technician Manager

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Malvern, PA is looking for a Veterinary Technician Manager with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay

$35.00 - $55.00 hourly. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience. We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked at nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a four‑hour minimum.

For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6 pm to 8 am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6 pm to 8 am = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8 am to 6 pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will

• Demonstrate highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate within your department, maintaining all related skills and knowledge.
• Create effective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, communicated, and delivered.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and resource for Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.
• Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution to create effective relationships.
• Coach staff to foster a culture of strong performance and high productivity.
• Clearly communicate with team members to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, protocol changes, policies, and impending changes.
• Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate teamwork.
• Implement process improvement initiatives.
• Work with the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training.
• Document performance‑related issues, assess team members during annual reviews, and provide leadership with recommendations for performance management and discipline.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
