Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician Manager to join Thrive Pet Healthcare in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will lead a high-performing clinical team, provide hands-on care, mentor staff, and help oversee daily hospital operations to deliver exceptional client and patient experiences.

The role emphasizes anesthesia proficiency, leadership, and a patient-centered approach within a growing Thrive network across locations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in a Veterinary Clinic setting.
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred.
  • Superior/advanced technical skills with anesthesia proficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills.

Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group is looking for an experienced, full-time Veterinary Technician Manager to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Annapolis Junction, MD.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by leading a high-performing technical team and ensuring exceptional patient care. Your life-changing work will range from providing hands-on clinical support and mentoring veterinary professionals, to overseeing daily hospital operations, fostering team growth and supporting an outstanding client and patient experience.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • Has 2+ years of supervisory experience in a Veterinary Clinic setting
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) strongly preferred
  • Superior/advanced technical skills
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $75,000 – $85,000/ year. The actual salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
