Cat Care was established in 1989, Cat Care is a 3-DVM, full-service feline-only clinic devoted to providing the finest medical care over the lifetime of our patients. We excel at creating and maintaining close relationships with both our long-term and brand-new clients, and we’re looking for a licensed Veterinary Technician who shares our dedication to our patients and clients.

This is a full-time position for a licensed Veterinary Technician, with a flexible schedule that includes some evening and Saturday morning shifts. As an experienced Veterinary Technician, you already know what it takes to be a successful veterinary professional. Key skills for this opportunity include:

  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
  • Knowledge of Stress-Free handling and Fear Free practices
  • Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
  • Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
  • Dental procedure experience (cleaning, charting, taking x-rays)

Your technical skills, as well as your ability to work with a team and your passion for learning and sharing new knowledge, are essential to your success as a Veterinary Technician at Cat Care of Rochester Hills. In addition, we are looking for candidates with “soft” skills, including:
