Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Los Angeles (Studio City), CA, seeks a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals. You will train, coach, and supervise technicians and assistants while partnering with hospital leadership to drive excellent patient care.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and program development, with a strong focus on staff development, schedule organization, and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership by example demonstrated in daily practice.
• Coach team members to anticipate and address client needs.
• Strong communication with hospital leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
