Job summary

Bonnie Brae Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a compassionate, collaborative team in Columbus, NC. The role focuses on comprehensive small animal care, including anesthesia, diagnostics, and surgery, with access to ongoing education and credentialing support.

You will partner with clients, review medical records, and maintain high standards of care in a supportive environment that values growth, teamwork, and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and lab procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your full skillset to provide comprehensive patient care, monitor anesthesia, administer treatments and perform lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team to maintain efficient workflows and support professional growth.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions with confidence.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training and feedback to uphold high standards.
