Qualifications

  • 5+ years hands‑on veterinary technician experience with leadership experience.
  • Strong surgical and anesthesia experience.
  • Certified or licensed technician with CVT/LVT/RVT credentials preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; mentoring mindset.
  • Motivated, self‑driven with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leading by example on the treatment floor.
  • Assisting veterinarians with appointments, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and patient treatments.
  • Training and onboarding new technicians and veterinary assistants.
  • Coaching team members through regular feedback and one‑on‑one meetings.
  • Developing and maintaining clinical SOPs and workflows.
  • Improving workflow efficiencies and ensuring smooth appointments.
  • Assisting with technician scheduling and daily staffing needs.
  • Encouraging teamwork, accountability and professional growth.
  • Supporting a collaborative, patient‑focused culture.
  • Maintaining a calm, low‑stress environment for patients and clients.

Your Impact

As our Lead Veterinary Technician, you'll divide your time between providing exceptional patient care and leading the technician team.

Responsibilities Include
  • Leading by example on the treatment floor
  • Assisting veterinarians with appointments, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and patient treatments
  • Training and onboarding new technicians and veterinary assistants
  • Coaching team members through regular feedback and one‑on‑one meetings
  • Helping develop and maintain clinical protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Improving workflow efficiencies and helping appointments move smoothly throughout the day
  • Assisting with technician scheduling and daily staffing needs
  • Encouraging teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
  • Supporting a collaborative, positive culture built around communication and patient care
  • Maintaining a calm, low‑stress environment for patients and clients
We're Looking For
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with 5+ years of hands‑on veterinary technician experience and demonstrated leadership experience will also be considered
  • Strong surgical and anesthesia experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
