VERG in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team. You will support advanced procedures, perform nursing tasks, and serve as the primary link between Internists and pet owners, guiding care and education throughout hospitalization and discharge.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our Internal Medicine team, you will:

• Support Advanced Procedures: Assist with endoscopic and ultrasound procedures (including GI, nasal, and airway scopes) as well as advanced radiology tasks.
• Provide High‑Level Nursing: Perform intravenous catheter placements, assist with endotracheal intubations and anesthetic inductions, and manage the precise setup, cleaning, and maintenance of specialized scope equipment.
• Lead Client Communication: Act as the vital link between our Internists and pet owners—providing updates on patient histories, lab results, and treatment plans.
• Deliver Critical Patient Education: Manage patient discharges and teach clients essential at‑home care, including subcutaneous fluid administration, insulin injections, and feeding tube management.
