Our ICU handles critical patients and those at risk of decompensation, requiring close observation. It is open to all services, so patients from all departments are cared for here.
We are hiring exceptional Veterinary Technicians to join our growing ICU nursing team. Our team values caring for the sickest patients, attention to detail, and advancing critical care nursing skills. ICU nurses work closely with ICU doctors to ensure prompt recognition of patient decompensation. Nurses play a vital role in patient recovery and will have increased responsibilities. Below are ICU-specific skills and procedures expected of each nurse; these are taught over time and are not required for initial application. Organization and maintaining a clean work environment are essential qualities.
