Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in MA is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians for the Inpatient Care Service, supporting hospitalized and critical patients in a specialty hospital. Opportunities include part-time or full-time schedules with 7AM–1PM shifts, flexible days, and a collaborative team environment.

You will work with ICU, post-operative, internal medicine, oncology, urgent care, and specialty patients, delivering high-quality nursing care and participating in advanced diagnostic

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred; ICU, Emergency, or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
• CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and critical care patients across ICU, Emergency, and Specialty services
• Monitor patient vitals, treatments, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly to attending clinicians
• Assist with advanced diagnostics, sample collection, medication administration, and dosage calculations
• Support care for postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, oncology patients, urgent care cases, and specialty referrals
• Triage critical patients and assist with stabilization and ongoing monitoring; provide compassionate client communication, updates, education, and discharge instructions

Compensation: $30–$40/hour

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to support our Inpatient Care Service. This opportunity is ideal for Vet Techs looking for part-time or full-time hours while caring for hospitalized and critical patients in a specialty animal hospital.

Join a collaborative team where you’ll work hands‑on with a diverse caseload including ICU, post‑operative, internal medicine, oncology, urgent care, and specialty patients while practicing advanced veterinary medicine.

Compensation

• $30–$40/hour based on experience, skills assessment, and technician leveling
• $38-$45/hour for Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred; ICU, Emergency, or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
• CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
• Strong technical nursing skills with confidence managing hospitalized and critical patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment
• Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to patient care and hospital culture
• Desire to continue learning, growing clinical skills, and contributing to a supportive team environment
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
