Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience
Technician II: Credentialed veterinary technician

Job Description: The University of Florida Veterinary Hospital at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) provides Small Animal primary care and urgent care services and Equine sports medicine, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.

A Veterinary Technician based in Small Animal services at the UFVH at WEC assists clinicians with routine and urgent examinations, treatments, clinical procedures, and hospitalization nursing care. An individual in this position must possess a good base knowledge of veterinary medicine and enjoy learning new things.

Available Shifts:
Day shifts available. Will require working holidays and weekends.

This position is considered essential personnel and requires a post-offer health assessment.

Salary: $18-$25/hr

Preferred:
Veterinary Technician I, Small Animal: High school diploma and two years of veterinary experience or one year of veterinary experience and currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program or graduate of a veterinary technician program.
Veterinary Technician II, Small Animal: Credentialed veterinary technician and four years of veterinary experience.
