Qualifications

Experienced veterinary technician
Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
Compassionate and empathetic toward animals and clients
Supports affordable spay/neuter and wellness

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients about their pet’s needs and concerns
Educate on the importance of spay/neuter, well care, and parasite prevention
Perform venipuncture, in-house cytology (ears, fecals, urinalysis), vaccinations, microchipping, nail trims and other preventive care services
Utilize low-stress handling techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort
Accurately document medical records (eVet software)
Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment
