Highland Park Animal Hospital in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our established, luxury hospital team. This full-time role supports veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and anesthesia, delivering compassionate care for canine and feline patients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT preferred).
  • Proficiency in IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of vaccines and preventative care protocols.
  • Excellent communication and client education skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care for dogs and cats.
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Perform IV catheter placement and blood collection.
  • Monitor and assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral).
  • Educate clients on vaccines, preventative care, and treatment plans.
  • Support advanced services including radiology, ultrasonography, and lab diagnostics.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
