Qualifications

• Must be an experienced veterinary technician with ability to properly handle and restrain animals.
• Experience with surgery assistance, recovery, and IV catheter placement.
• Knowledge of bloodwork, X-ray positioning, and laboratory equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgery and in surgical recovery.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood; run bloodwork.
• Position patients for X-ray and maintain imaging quality.
• Room patients and support client education and scheduling.
