Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Registered Veterinary Technicians in [STATE] are preferred, not necessarily required. We are open and willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Check patient medical records for past histories and enter them into the computer.
• Take medical histories and vital signs of patients.
• Maintain client educational materials.
• Admit and discharge patients.
• Take, process and log prescription refills in-house, call out pharmacy and online pharmacy.
• Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs.
• Administer medications to patients as needed.
• Place catheters and perform blood draws.
• Restrain and assist the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia.
