Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is required.
• Comfortable working in exam rooms and supporting client-facing appointments.
• Experience with blood draws, placing IV catheters, injections, vaccines, and client education.

Responsibilities

• Support doctors during wellness and sick appointments.
• Assist with patient restraint, sample collection, and treatments.
• Draw blood, place IV catheters, run in-house lab work, and prep samples for send-out testing.
• Administer vaccines and medications as directed.
• Discuss vaccine protocols and preventive care with clients.
• Provide compassionate, low-stress patient handling and nursing care.
• Support anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and dental procedures as trained.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and CSRs to keep appointments running smoothly.
