Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician status preferred.
• Experience in small animal care is advantageous.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a progressive practice.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and collect medical histories, vital signs, and initial assessments.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide nursing care from intake to discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and fluids.
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placements.
• Process lab samples and assist with in-house diagnostics.
• Monitor hospitalized patients and support anesthesia and surgery.
• Educate clients on medications, home care, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and keep areas clean and organized.
