Job summary

Cumberland Animal Clinic in Havana, Florida, serving the Tallahassee area since 1974, seeks a dedicated veterinary team member. You will assist with restraint, triage, lab work, imaging, surgery support, and anesthesia management, while communicating treatment plans clearly to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• Saturday availability required.
• Exceptional customer service and precise communication.
• Ability to restrain pets safely and interpret medical records.
• Proficient in collecting samples and processing tests.
• Experience with radiographs; dental radiographs a plus.
• Knowledge of anesthesia and surgical monitoring.
• Eager to continue learning and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Restrain animals, triage incoming patients and manage care.
• Collect and analyze lab samples and perform tests.
• Position and capture radiographs; assist in dental radiographs.
• Provide nursing care and manage hospitalized cases.
• Explain treatment plans to clients and coordinate care.
• Assist in surgery and monitor anesthesia.
• Adhere to safety and hospital workflow; accept feedback.
