Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience or relevant veterinary education and training.
• Strong animal-handling and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in providing exceptional medical care to patients.
• Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
• Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction.
• Assist with surgical preparation, procedures, anesthesia, and patient recovery as appropriate to your skill level.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about their pets’ care.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records.
• Anticipate the needs of veterinarians and teammates to promote efficient hospital workflow.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment and patient-care areas.
• Share your knowledge, skills, and experience with teammates.
